for Irish or UK banks, and up to 10 days for cheques drawn on other
European banks).
POSTAL CHARGES AND DELIVERY OPTIONS
The cost of postage is not included in the
prices
listed. Postage is charged at cost,
and you can email me to obtain
the cost of postage for any item prior to purchase. Please note that I am based in the Republic of
Ireland. Ordinary registered post costing approx. E5 to E10 from the
Republic of Ireland
to overseas destinations only provides for limited compensation (E320
to the UK, E150 to the rest of Europe and E35 to the rest of the
world). HOWEVER, and as long as you are
not in a hurry to receive items, I post more valuable items via Royal
Mail from Northern Ireland, with despatch about every 2 weeks, as Royal
Mail insurance up to £2,500 is available to UK addresses, and up to
£500 to most international destinations. This is the most economic and
secure method for most consignments. However, if you are in a rush,
there is a slightly more expensive option from the Republic of Ireland,
costing E19 postage for items weighing up to 500 grams and worth
up to E2,500, and with delivery taking 2 - 3 working days. Clients are
advised that
consignments above the Irish Post or Royal Mail insured limits can only
be insured
for the full value if sent by courier post, and are advised to make
their own arrangesments in this regard.
