Based in Dublin, Ireland, he has over fifty years experience collecting and trading in medals and militaria, having purchased his first Queen's South Africa Medal as a 16 year old schoolboy, and has wide experience of cataloguing specialist auctions of items of historic and military significance and identifying and valuing historic objects, medals and militaria for museums in the UK and Ireland.
