      Payment & Delivery

      Prices on the website are displayed in £ sterling. However, I can accept payment in other currencies. See below for details.

      Value Added Tax, Import Duty and Sales Tax

        United Kingdom (including Northern Ireland)

      There is no VAT or import duty for customers resident in the UK (including Northern Ireland).

      All items purchased by UK residents are posted using fully insured, signed for, UK Royal Mail Special Delivery.

        Republic of Ireland and European Union

      No VAT or import duty is payable by customers in the Republic of Ireland or the rest of the EU.

      Items purchased by clients in Ireland or the rest of the EU are posted using the Republic of Ireland's signed for registered post system or by courier (purchaser's choice).

        USA

      There is no import duty payable on numismatic items (coins and medals), so you should not have to pay any import duty if purchasing items from my list.

      However, I believe that sales tax may be levied by some states on consignments imported with a value of $800 or more.

        Canada

      This country currently imposes import duty on any item valued at $20 or more.

      Individual states may also levy sales tax in full on imported coins or medals.

        Australia and New Zealand

      I believe both these countries do not generally charge import duty on items valued at less than $1,000.

      However, both countries may levy sales tax in full on any imported coins or medals.

      Ordering and Payment Information

      • If you are interested in purchasing any item(s), please use the BUY NOW link at the top right of any page to enquire about total price including postage, quoting the stock number and stating the medal type (and the recipient's surname, if the medal is named). When enquiring about postage, please include your country location so that the correct postage can be added to the cost. DO NOT ENTER ANY BANK DETAILS on this form,
      • Once you are happy to proceed with your purchase, I will invoice you via the email address you have provided. You can then pay by electronic transfer, personal cheque, or by Paypal, but please note that Paypal transactions incur an additional transaction fee of 6% of the total due (items plus postage).   
      • Personal cheques in £ Sterling, Euro, Australian $, Canadian $ or US$ will be accepted, but please note that items purchased will not be dispatched until your cheque clears for payment (at least 6 working days).
      • In addition, I can accept payment by electronic bank transfer in £ Sterling, Euro, Australian Dollars, Canadian Dollars or US Dollars, at the exchange rate prevailing at the time of purchase. Please state at the time of ordering how and in what currency you wish to pay, and do not forward payment until you have received a confirmation email confirming the full price payable.
