ROYAL NAVY, 2ND CRUISER SQUADRON, embroidered blue cloth badge, a red circlet with outline of white shield within, red and white star at centre comprised of white and red overlaid triangles, letters "SCS" in red and white at centre, unissued condition (virtually as made). Accompanied by a note to the effect that it was worn by the crew of HMS Cornwall and of Victorian manufacture.
