A GOOD QUALITY EDWARDIAN GOLD MOUNTED STERLING SILVER ISLE OF MAN SOUVENIR PENCIL HOLDER, rectangular tubular case with curved sides, detachable cap/ pencil holder, the throat of the body of the case decorated with a plain 9 carat gold band and with a 9 carat gold triskelis affixed, integral silver ring and silver jump ring for suspension and with its original pencil. Maker's mark "JT & S" (John Thompson & Sons), hallmarked for Birmingham 1906-1907, the gold band to throat and triskelis additionally marked for 9 carat gold. Length 3.5 inches (83mm) overall including suspension ring. Weight 4.2 grams (.14 troy ounces). Some light contact marks and bruises, wear commensurate with age, otherwise in good condition.
