Medal accompanied by extract published Crimea casualty roll, confirming Peter McNab wounded in action at the battle of the Alma River, 20/9/1854, copied medal roll extracts (3, dated "Camp before Sebastopol", 5/1/1855, 28/6/1855 and 28/11/1855 respectively) confirming medal and clasps, the medal roll dated 28/11/1855 recording McNab as being "dead", and the medal roll dated 28/6/1855 recording McNab's medal as having been forwarded to the "Mint 29/5/60" (indicating that this medal was sent to the Mint in 1860 for forwarding to McNab's next of kin.)
