Gita Willemson in her "The Dublin Society Drawing Schools 1746-1876" records Miss Lambert as having entered the Royal Dublin Society's Drawing School in 1875, two years after winning this prize medal. She was one of the last students to enter the Drawing School, there only being one admission in 1876, and in the following year, 1877, the Royal Dublin Society's interest in the Drawing School was bought out by the State.
