A SECOND WORLD WAR PERIOD STERLING SILVER LUCKY HORSESHOE, by Henry Griffiths & Son, Birmingham hallmarks for 1943-44, 25mm across at widest point, 4.4 grammes, with its original Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Company leatherette pouch. Lightly polished, otherwise good condition.
These Lucky Horseshoes, not surprisingly, were particularly popular with servicemen during WW2.
